The Team

The Forever Verdant team represents geographies throughout the US and achievements throughout the globe. Their collective experience of solving problems small and large in combination with their grounded idealism and environmental ardor provides the experience and passion to fulfill the vision of Forever Verdant.

Growing up in suburban Washington, DC, Andrew was drawn to his natural surroundings from an early age. From the forests of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed to the shores of the nearby Atlantic, his endeavors always led him outdoors.  Having recently graduated from Boston College with a BA in Economics and a minor in Environmental Studies, Andrew has a well-informed perspective on environmental stewardship within a consumer-based economy. During the spring of 2009, Andrew studied in Melbourne, Australia and was able to experience the natural splendors the region had to offer. This immersion experience also allowed him to observe environmental efforts from a new perspective. In his senior year, Andrew interned with BC’s Office of Sustainability and Energy Management, providing him with further insight into methods of sustainable living. Driven both by his knowledge of and passion for eco-friendly living, Andrew hopes to inspire others to incorporate the Forever Verdant philosophy into their everyday lives.

Erin has appreciated nature since a young age, and over the years this passion has evolved from collecting wormy acorns to working towards environmental conservation through the sustainable growth of our communities.  After graduating from MIT in 2005 with a BS in Mechanical/Environmental Engineering, Erin worked with a wind energy company developing utility-scale wind farms throughout the US for several years.  Seeking a change of pace, she made a cross-country move from Texas to Minnesota, and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Engineering Management at University of Minnesota Duluth.  Living in Northeastern Minnesota is providing ample opportunities for Erin to learn more about and practice sustainable living, as well as to embrace the beauty and outdoor activities our natural environment offers.  She believes that environmental stewardship is a necessary part of achieving a Forever Verdant future for us all.

Greg grew up in Long Beach, California and spent his entire childhood boating on, and swimming in the beautiful Pacific Ocean.  With a healthy respect for the environment and a desire to become a pilot, Greg graduated from the US Air Force Academy in 1997 with a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering.  He became a fighter pilot in the A-10 Warthog and served his country in Korea, Iraq, and Afghanistan until he separated from active duty in 2007.  He currently resides in Tucson, Arizona and will graduate from the University of Arizona College of Law in 2010.  Greg will continue to serve part time in the Arizona National Guard while he pursues a career in law.  Wherever these pursuits take him, Greg has an enduring commitment to an environment that is Forever Verdant.

Heidi, originally from Long Island, NY, earned her B.A. in English, as well as her teaching certification from Fairfield University in Connecticut.  Shortly after graduation she married and has lived in various regions of the United States, including the Southwest, South, and Northeast to support her husband's tenure as an officer in the army.  Heidi is currently the proud mother of two young girls; she also teaches English at New Milford High School in Connecticut.  Heidi's commitment to Forever Verdant stems from her belief that every person is responsible for the well-being of the planet and for each other.  She feels that Forever Verdant's goals for the individual and for the global community are practical and realistic, making FV a valuable resource for those seeking to live eco-friendly lives.

Tim grew up on Long Island, New York, enjoying the outdoors and ocean from an early age.  He attended Chaminade High School and upon graduation entered the United States Military Academy to pursue another passion of his - national service.  Towards the end of his West Point commitment as a captain in the 101st Airborne Division, Tim earned a Bronze Star for his contributions during Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Thereafter, Tim rejoined his family in Fairfield County, Connecticut and went on to apply his leadership experience in corporate America.  He was a key architect of several wealth management and private banking initiatives.  After more than six years of dynamic business experience at a leading financial services firm, Tim traded in his New York office to pursue his passion for the environment and launch Forever Verdant, LLC.  His particular inspiration for FV can be found on the Origin Tab of this site.
